The past few months have been like a whirlwind, to say the least. But isn’t it the uncertainty that has always driven the changes and gave the world incredible solutions to overcome every challenge?

The world is on the road to recovery from adversities caused by the pandemic, but the way we walk this path has to be well defined and maneuvered. There is strong evidence of markedly accelerated adoption of new behaviors due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the timeframes for embracing technologies are being radically accelerated.

    Lorenzo Jooris is the CEO of Creative Zone, Dubai’s leading business advisory firm. Jooris holds extensive and diverse experience in the Middle Eastern and South Asian business markets and retains an expert opinion on the regions’ SMEs and startup culture. He was the founder of One World Communications, a full-fledged multi-media powerhouse advising governments around the world in branding and communication strategies. He, later on, started LEADERS Middle East Magazine in the UAE and formulated ‘Leaders without Borders’ an initiative that promotes young social entrepreneurs’ development and Power Women of Arabia Debate. In 2018, he joined Arton Capital as the Vice President of global growth and strategy where he oversaw the international expansion of the company and was in charge of sales, marketing and events worldwide. Lorenzo is a firm believer in giving back to the community, and within Creative Zone he has spearheaded significant initiatives to help and support promising startups and entrepreneurs. He is also the author of “Recipes for a Better World” and serves as an advisor to the James Michel Foundation.

A board member of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), Mr. Mardini played a key role in its development. This pioneering body was instrumental in starting a dialogue between airport operators and the region’s governing authorities. MEBAA has helped shape local regulations to meet with international standards, as well as create extensive business opportunities in emerging markets. Mr. Mardini is also an active member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a global community committed to a shared mission of becoming better leaders through lifelong learning and idea exchange. A strong believer in corporate responsibility and giving back to the community, he is involved with numerous charitable activities and developed the first partnership by a general aviation company to champion and support electric aircraft for a short-haul flight.

    With a very distinctive and passionate outlook on business, Mohamed has spent the last 17 years developing his knowledge, skills, and experience in various sectors of business in the UAE, with a keen interest in Real Estate, Banking, Technology, and Automotive. His persistence and determination for success have become a testament to the strong network he has built and real success stories he created, a true believer of “Law of attraction”. Mohamed is an experienced CEO & MD of LEAD Ventures with a demonstrated history of working in the international trade and development industry. Skilled in Negotiation, Management, Start-ups, Real Estate Investment Consulting, and Business Development. Strong business development professional graduated from Middlesex University Dubai.

    Tariq Qureishy

    Tariq is a futurist. Acknowledged as an authentic & candid presenter, with an open & entertaining style. Founder and CEO of MAD Talks. He has worked with many major brands in the region either through the media platforms or directly. He has specialised knowledge about innovation, the impact of the brain & thinking, focused on the future. He currently works towards empowering boards & companies to thrive in the future, rather than be worried about it. He is also enthusiastic about “Making A Difference” in everything. Work, social impact, life, everything. That is what inspires him today. In 2007 when the whole world was going online and digital with newspapers, he led the successful launch of The Times & Sunday Times in the Gulf. He later embarked on the journey to launch 100% MAD and change the world of philanthropy by democratising it through digital technology & address the critical issues facing us.
