The Ministry of Commerce and Industry oversees commercial and industrial activities in Qatar, directing these activities following national development requirements. The Ministry’s mandate includes business development needed to attract investments and support and develop exports.

Setting up a company with the MOCI does not require a local Qatari sponsor but does have a mandatory requirement for office space, including a flexi desk.
