Time Lines

Day 1 Submit Application to CREATIVE ZONE and make payment
Day 3 Your dedicated phone number is activated and the details sent to you via email

Day 10 Trade License released by the Free Zone and scanned copy of the original will be sent to you via email
Day 11 Original Trade License, Articles of Association, Certificate of Incorporation, Share Certificate and Company Stamp are available for collection at CREATIVE ZONE

Day 11 Make payment for Company Establishment Card
Day 19 Company Establishment card issued by Immigration. You may apply for your visa at this point
Day 19 Complete and submit visa application forms and attested degree certificate (if applicable) and UAE ID Card information (if applicable) to CREATIVE ZONE and make payment
Day 39 Entry Visa issued (Pink Colored Visa) and a copy emailed to you

NB: If you are currently in the country on a tourist visa, you will need to exit the country before your entry visa will be issued and will then re-enter the country on your new entry visa. Entry visas will only be issued in country for those applicants on a 30 day grace period following the cancellation of their previous residency visa or if you are in the country on a visit visa or if you received a visa on arrival into the UAE (granted to nationals of 33 countries who don’t need to apply for a visa prior to entering the UAE) 
Day 39 Proceed to Al Baraha Hospital in Dubai for medical
Day 40 Collect medical test results from Al Baraha Hospital
Day 40 Carry out change of status (In/Out Stamp) either by exiting and re-entering the country i.e. by driving to the Hatta/Oman border, or by submitting your passport, original entry visa and payment to CREATIVE ZONE to carry out the same without having to leave the country.

NB: Those whom are wishing to carry out the change of status (In/Out Stamp) in country can only do so if you are currently on the 30 day grace period following the cancellation of your previous residency visa or if you are on a visit visa or if you received a visa on arrival into the UAE (granted to nationals of 33 countries who don’t need to apply for a visa prior to entering the UAE)

Furthermore, providing the change of status is completed within the 30 day grace period following the cancellation of your previous residency visa you will not incur any overstay fines. 
Day 44 Proceed to Fujairah, visit ID Card typing center to have your application typed up, then proceed to the UAE ID Card center to complete the ID Card formalities. Meet with CREATIVE ZONE representative in Fujairah and hand over the receipt of the completion of your ID Card formalities along with your passport, original medical results, original entry visa and alternate passport pictures, which will be submitted to Immigration for residency stamping.

Day 56 Passport is released by immigration stamped with Residency Visa
Day 57 Passport available for collection at CREATIVE ZONE

Day 11 Meet Emirates NBD banker armed with your original company documents, passport and company stamp as well as copies of personal bank statements for 3 months (these can be printouts of online statements from any bank in the world, they don’t have to be from a UAE bank).

Please note: For companies with a branch of a foreign company or have a foreign company as a shareholder, or are US Nationals we will be arranging a meeting with Mashreq Bank as opposed to Emirates NBD as Emirates NBD currently have certain restrictions for opening bank accounts for such companies and nationalities. Furthermore if your new company is a branch of a foreign company or have a foreign company as a shareholder, you will also be required to bring relevant attested documents pertaining to the parent company (contact us for further information pertaining to the requirements)
Day 23 Bank Account Number issued and emailed to you directly by the bank

  • The above timelines correlate to working days not calendar days.
  • Applications are submitted for processing and indicated timelines commence upon realization of payment.
  • The cut-off time for documents to be submitted/received, and payments to be received/realized is 1pm, anything received after this time will be considered towards the following working day.
  • As all visa applications have to be submitted to the Free Zone and Immigration with the original forms signed by the applicant, hence all visa applications submitted to CREATIVE ZONE at any time will always be considered towards the following working day.
  • During periods in and around Ramadan, days of mourning, Eid and other National and Religious Holidays the indicated timelines are likely to become subject to delays.
  • Change of status (in/out stamp) would need to be carried out prior to proceeding for your UAE ID Card.
  • We recommend to those applicants who currently hold valid UAE Residency Visas and don’t have a UAE ID Card to apply for one prior to canceling their existing visa, as it will save them having to travel to Fujairah.
  • The Visa process for certain nationalities and for applicants without degrees and those applying for visa transfers may be longer than the timelines indicated above.
